Whilst modeling, Nora completed a two-year professional actor-training program at the William Esper Studio, under the tutelage of Maggie Flanigan. This premier New York acting school boasts alumi - Calista Flockhart, John Malkovich, Kim Basinger, Aaron Eckhart, Jimmy Smits and Kathy Bates.

Prior to attending acting school, Nora had already starred in three feature films, notably 'Sotto Il Vestito Niente 2' (1988), ‘Skin Art - Branded For Love’ (1993) and ‘Into My Heart’ (1998) – all of which received international success.

‘Skin Art’ was released in Spain as ‘Arte En La Piel'. ‘Into My Heart’ on the other hand, was released in several languages - including ‘Par Amour' (France), ‘Seducción’ (Spain), ' Emoções' (Portugal) and ' Inganni Del Cuore' (Italy). 'Into My Heart' (previously titled 'Elements') premiered at the 1998 Venice Film Festival. 





Nora and actor Jake Weber acted together in both ‘Skin Art’ and ‘Into My Heart’. They had been romantically linked for several years. Many websites cite the rumor that they got married in April 2000. However, this information is untrue... they simply dated and, alas they are no longer together. 



This is not widely known but in 1988, whilst modeling in Milan, Nora was hand-picked by award-winning Italian director Dario Piana to star in his stylish ‘Giallo’ movie, ‘Sotto Il Vestito Niente II’. The movie went on to achieve cult status among legions of Euro-horror cinephiles. ‘Sotto Il Vestito Niente II’ (literally means “nothing underneath the dress”), also known as 'Too Beautiful To Die', 'They Only Come Out At Night' in the US, 'Trop Belle Pour Mourir' in France and 'Demasiado Bellas Para Morir' in Spain. 



In 2003, she performed on stage in Drew McWeeny and Scott Swan’s ‘Broken Bones’, a dark drama about spousal abuse, at the Producers’ Club in New York.
